The Efficiënt Classic is an ergonomic office chair for anyone who sits at a desk eight hours a day and wants to keep that up. The chair is manufactured in Europe and comes with a five-year warranty.
The difference lies in the synchronous mechanism. Backrest and seat move together when you lean back, and you set the resistance to your own body weight. You can lock the position in four settings, so you decide whether you want to rock freely or sit firmly upright. The anti-shock system stops the backrest from snapping back if you suddenly shift your weight.
The lumbar support slides over 65 mm and locks in any position, so you can set the support exactly on the curve of your lower back. That is the spot where most back complaints from desk work start. The backrest is made of high-quality elastic mesh, so your back stays ventilated and you do not stick to your chair on warm days.
The seat has 50 mm of cold foam with a density of 35 kg/m³. That density matters more than the thickness, because low-density foam sags after a year and then you are sitting on the base plate.
