Pedrali collection - Buro International

Pedrali was founded in 1963 in the Italian province of Brescia. The name "Pedrali" is derived from the surname of the founder, Mario Pedrali, whose passion for furniture design formed the foundation of the brand. The first outdoor collections consisted of wrought iron chairs, but from the 1970s onwards Pedrali increasingly specialised in industrial production aimed at the contract sector. 

Tradition and artisanal craftsmanship

An important feature of Pedrali is its emphasis on Italian tradition and artisanal craftsmanship. The brand combines Italian design with rich traditions of craftsmanship to produce furniture of the highest quality. The pieces are made with care and precision by skilled craftspeople, resulting in timeless and durable masterpieces. Pedrali is “100% Made in Italy” thanks to in-house production at its headquarters in Bergamo and its wood department in Udine. 

Innovation and outstanding design

Despite its respect for tradition, Pedrali is known for its innovative approach to furniture design. The brand works with renowned Italian and international designers and architects to create unique, contemporary furniture. The focus is on achieving outstanding design and delivering products that bring aesthetics and functionality into perfect harmony. The Frida chair, for example, won the ADI Compasso d’Oro in 2011.

Eco-sustainability and environmental awareness

Pedrali also attaches great importance to eco-sustainability and environmental awareness. The brand invests in sustainable production processes and selects materials that have as little impact on the environment as possible. Pedrali has launched its first “recycled grey” collections, made from recycled polypropylene: 50% from post-consumer plastic waste and 50% from industrial plastic waste.
