The Result Chair has a thin steel plate as a base with a seat and backrest made of oak, which maintains maximum flexibility, lightness and strength. Originally designed by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld during their work at Ahrend in the 1950s, the cut-out steel collection has been relaunched by HAY together with Ahrend. It is available in various wood finishes and base colours, as well as an upholstered seat variant and a fully upholstered version, with both models offered in a wide range of textile and leather options. All variants can be coordinated with the Pyramid Table, making it a versatile seating arrangement suitable for use in many public and private contexts.
