At Accent Namur we got carte blanche: a completely empty building was at our disposition. It was a pleasure for us to be able to carry out not only the design, but also the complete follow-up, right up to completion. We were initially told that the whole had to be an experience and that the building had to be divided into three parts: a standard office, a place for the large accounts and finally a room for ABS trainings. We created a mood board to bring our ideas together for this project.
For this ABS training part, the theme Down the Rabbit Hole was chosen, named after the title of the first chapter of the novel Alice in Wonderland. This reference stems from the idea that new employees are immersed in the Accent world on their first day at work, just as Alice found herself in a totally different world after falling down the rabbit hole. A fascinating theme to work with! We were looking for the perfect balance between functional use and a fresh and colorful design. In addition to being efficient, we also kept it playful, because learning is fun! We made extensive use of flower carpets, wildflower fields, plants, green tones and optical illusions to create an aesthetically beautiful whole.
We were able to make good use of the capabilities of ZitSta here for maximum flexibility with the BiVo Electric Bench. The modular table system of the Mahia Bench from Famo also proved to be particularly suitable in this workspace. The conference chairs on wheels of the solid and ergonomic Polish brand Bejot were used in different colors and also the fresh chairs Catifa 46 by Arper fit perfectly within the colorful picture of Accent. In addition, we also integrated Hay's multipurpose stackable and minimalist Soft Edge 10 chairs, designed by Iskos Berlin. It seemed ideal to us to also use the cozy Ox:co Small bucket seat here. Furthermore, Mikomax's playful and modern soundproofing phonebooth provides the necessary privacy. Muuto's Dots Wood coat racks, designed by Lars Tornǿe, look like a starry sky above our Flexwall, a playful and modular cabinet system from our House Line. The Dots are therefore ideal for creating your own pattern on the wall. Finally, a cozy and loose atmosphere was also created with the fantastic round Bistrot 4102 tables from Pedrali.
We would like to thank Accent for their trust and we look forward to future successful collaborations.
