The HandShoe Mouse is a special ergonomic mouse developed by the Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands) with underlying research confirmed by the University of Hasselt (Belgium). By now there are many tens of thousands of HandShoe Mouse users around the world. With the special mouse, the wrist bends less sideways and the forearm does not have to turn as much inward (Schmid et al., 2015). As a result, muscle activity in the forearm is lower than in a standard mouse (Quemelo & Vieira, 2013).
